St Margaret's Church at Warnham
14th June 2006

The Church of St. Margaret, in Warnham, is a typical Sussex parish church built between the 14th and 19th centuries. It contains burials of members of a number of prominent Sussex families: the Carylls, the Lucases and the Shelleys - the Poet P.B. Shelley was baptised here in 1792, and one of his sons, Charles Bysshe is buried here. There are also some particularly fine 19th Century windows.
