Sankt-Peterburg - The State Hermitage

The State Hermitage comprises six buildings in S-Peterburg, including the former home of the Tsars, the Winter Palace, designed by Rastrelli and built in 1754-62. As well as being famous for its role in the 1905 and 1917 revolutions, it is also the world's largest art gallery.
