St. George's Church at Crowhurst (Sy).

Crowhurst Parish Church is a simple, small Mediaeval building with an interesting mosaic fresco on the sanctuary wall. The churchyard is home to the Crowhurst Yew, an immense hollowed tree thought to be four thousand years old.

A monument to Richard Cholmley in the sanctuary. The latin inscription reads: INDVBITATA SPE RESVRRECTIONIS FVTVRAE IN HAC OSSVARIA REQUIESCIT RICHARDVS CHOLMLEY QVONDA IACOBI SACRAE MEMORIAE & CAROLI REGV ANGLIAE PINCERNA CVIVS & PROBITATE & PIETATEM OLIM (OVM IN VIVIS ESSET) APPROBAVIT VOX PVBLICA OBIT XIII AVGVSTI A SALVTIS 1634 MONVMENTVM HOC AMORIA ERGO POSVIT IOHANNES CHOLMLEY FRATER MOESTISSIMVS.
